The ski possibilities are almost endless in the French Alps and at Soulmountain we have selected the best ski areas in the region that every skier should visit once in their life.
Our ski experiences in France are focused by one hand in the Tarentaise Valley and Val d’Isere and secondly in the 3 Valleys.
The Valleys of Tarentaise and Val d´Isére
Bourg Saint Maurice, in the Rhone Alps region, is a beautiful and quaint village located in the Tarentaise Valley at the end of the Isere Valley. It is known to locals as ” the kingdom of white gold” which refers to endless powder and bountiful paradise that this place offers lovers of winter sports. This region is also known for its excellent culinary specialties, that can be enjoyed in the company of your fellow skier and snowboarders.
From this picturesque mountain village, skiers can access Les Arcs 1600 and Paradiski, two of the largest ski resorts in France, by a modern gondola in only 7 minutes.
Only 25 km away from Bourg Saint Maurice, are the famous ski areas of Espace Killy with Tignes and Val d’Isère. Another 15km away is the French-Italian ski resort of San Bernardo.
The ski and snowboard possibilities offered in this French Alps Ski Experience are endless and in 8 days, you can ski at any or all of these world class destinations.
The 3 Valleys is the largest ski area in the world with a total of 600km of pure pleasure of skiing. It is situated in the heart of the French Alps and divided into three main valleys, The Valley of Belleville in the east, Meribel in the center and Courchevel to the West. It is situated only 43 km south to La Bourg Saint Maurice inside of the Saboya department.
Ski & Snowboard France.
This resort extends from the Aiguille Rouge (Les Arcs) up to the Côte-de-Dôme Belle (La Plagne). This area offers over 250 skiable slopes with more than 425 kilometers of terrain available for all levels of difficulty. Situated on two glaciers, between 1200m and 3250m altitude and 628 snow making machines, guarantees amazing snow all winter long.
- Espace Killy.
Espace Killy is spread over three mountains and two valleys and connects the ski resorts of Val d’Isere and Tignes. There is skiable terrain for all levels, with 156 slopes, over 90 ski lifts spread over a total of 300 kilometers. There are many freeride ski possibilities on the glacier of Le Grand Motet or in the treeline of the valley of Isere.

This ski paradise is formed from the union of the Italian ski resort of La Thuille in the Aosta Valley and the French resort of La Rosiere. Besides the attractiveness of skiing in two countries on the same day, St. Bernard has 37 ski lifts, over 80 ski slopes and a total of 150km of skiable terrain available to the very beginner to the very advanced skier.
•Saint Martín de Belleville is a beautiful town surrounded by small and pretty villages which has retained its original charm like no other village in Savoyard mountains. It is the ideal place to enjoy with the family without having to give up a wide range of pists.
•Les Menuries represents a more modern vision with its architecture and high buildings. Because of this, this area is more frequented by younger people and families. Directly in front of this area is the Masse, where you can enjoy the sun shine all day.
•Val Thorens is a famous winter sports village located at 2 300 meters above sea level, offering incredible views of French, Italian and Swiss Alps. In no other ski resort in Europe, will you stay as close to heaven.
• Meribel-Mottaret is located in the central valley and is a perfect starting point where the skiers can take modern gondolas to access both summits, uniting Meribel Valley directly with the Belleville and Courchevel Valleys.
• The Courchevel Valley is known colloquially as the St. Tropez of the Alps. It consists of three separate districts named by their varying altitudes. Courchevel 1550 is one of the ski destinations most preferred by families with children. Courchevel 1650 has become a meeting place for young people with a wide range of entertainment, food and bars. And lastly Courchevel 1850, being the most sophisticated and exclusive ski area.
• Finally the emerging resorts of La Tania and Brides les Bains, the first located between a pine forest between Courchevel and Meribel, and is perfect destination for families with children. The second is located below the Meribel Valley, which has a long tradition as a spa and hot springs destination.

First day:International flight from your country of origin to Geneva. Our guide pick you up in the airport and transfer from the airport to the town of Bourg the Saint Maurice (187 km-approximately 2h). Welcome reception with some local wines and snacks while travel details are given. Collection of rental equipment if needed. Accommodation in Bourg the Saint Maurice.
Days 2 and 3: Ski/snowboard en Paradiski, enjoying his incredible ski domain of more than 400 km. The guide will guide and accompany the group. To the end of day we can enjoy the apres-ski Les Arcs or visit al centro de la Villa. Accommodation in Bourg the Saint Maurice.
Days 4 and 5: Ski/snowboard in Espace Killy a new doamin to explore by the hand of our guide. In the evening we can visit the beauty mountain town of Val d´Isere and drink a hot wine or chocolate.
Day 6: Ski/snowboard in San Bernardo, skiing by the hand of our guide between the borders of France and Italy from the italian ¨dolce vita¨ to the french ¨savoir vivre¨. For this evening we have the possibility to visit the town of Salins les Thermes for relax our bodies in the hot springs. For earn strength and finish the day, we can dinner the typical food of the region in a restaurant
Day 7: Last day of ski/snowboard in the domain that the skier or snowboarder want to repeat. Farewell dinner.
Day 8: In the morning, transfer back to Geneva airport.
